Third time’s definitely the charm for Realme when it comes to their newly-unveiled Narzo series. After the launch of the Narzo series was postponed twice, the brand has finally lifted the veils of the Realme Narzo 10 and the Realme Narzo 10A.

Narzo is a new sub-brand under the Realme umbrella that caters to gamers and the use of the gaming-oriented MediaTek Helio G series of processors is a proof of just that. If you’re confused about where exactly the new Narzo series sits, let me remind you of how Realme recently rejigged their smartphone lineup.

The Realme number series – the latest models of which are the Realme 6 and the Realme 6 Pro – have now been moved upward in the pricing segment and the INR 13,999 starting price of Realme 6 leaves room for the Narzo series to sit in. Meanwhile, the Realme C series and older Realme phones will occupy the sub-10k segment.

Realme Narzo 10A: Specifications, Price & Availability

The cheaper of the two, the Realme Narzo 10A is powered by the 12nm MediaTekHelio G70 SoC that comes with MediaTek Gaming Technology to optimize network latency and reduce in-game lag. The phone is also said to be the only one in the price segment to have support for PUBG HD graphics out of the box by default. The SoC is accompanied by 3GB DDR4 RAM and 32GB ROM (expandable via triple-card slot). Unfortunately, there’s only one variant here.

The smartphone designs proudly display the Realme branding across tha back.

The phone has a 6.5-inch HD+ 20:9 screen with a waterdrop notch that houses a 5MP front camera. Speaking of cameras, the primary camera setup involves three imaging sensors: a 12MP primary sensor, a 2MP portrait sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. The front-facing camera has support for facial recognition that compliments the fingerprint scanner that’s present at the back of the phone.

The phone runs on Android 10 with Realme UI on top. It has a 5,000mAh battery and has support for reverse wired charging via its USB Type-C port. Unfortunately, there’s no support for fast charging here – something we’ve seen in competing phones like the Redmi 8.

The Realme Narzo 10A is priced at INR 8,499 and is available in two colours of So White and

So Blue. The phone will go on sale from 22nd May at 12PM.

Realme Narzo 10: Specifications, Price & Availability

The Realme Narzo 10 sits higher on the pricing scale and is powered by an octa-core Helio G80 processor that is coupled with a Mali G52 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of in-built memory. Notably, the Narzo 10 is also the first smartphone in India to be powered by the Helio G80 processor.

The design is inspired from the special edition Realme X that were designed by Naoto Fukasawa.

The phone has a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display that might be a disappointment for some considering the price of the phone. The display has a waterdrop notch that houses a 16MP camera. The back of the phone houses a quad-camera setup that is headlined by a 48MP sensor. An 8MP ultrawide angle lens, a 2MP portrait sensor, and a 2MP macro lens make up for the rest of the quad-camera setup.

Like the 10A, the Narzo 10 also has a 5,000mAh battery that supports reverse wired charging via its Type-C port. But the Narzo 10 has support for 18W fast wired charging and is also comes with an 18W charging brick in the box. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone. It runs on Android 10 with Realme UI out of the box.

The phone’s design is reminiscent of the iconic Realme X design and comes in two colours of That White and That Green. The phone is priced at INR 11,999 for the sole 4GB+128GB variant and will go on sale in India starting 18 May, 12PM.
