It’s the era of the notches. Panasonic has launched two new phones which have a 6.18inch FHD screen with AI technology to give you amazing Instagram influencer worthy pictures at any point in time.
These notched wonders: Eluga X1 and the Eluga X1 Pro both have a stainless steel body with a 2.5D curved sleek design. The AI-powered front camera is 16MP — this means your selfie should look pretty neat. There’s also a special Group Selfie mode in both the phones which means that you and your friends can capture those lasting memories and finally get a photo where everyone is smiling. The AI Sense is also smart enough to unlock your phone in the dark.
The two are also equipped with an Helio MediaTek P60 processor, which should be able to hold its own as you multitask or play compute intensive games such as PUBG or Asphalt 9.
The other huge plus point is that the phone is made of Corning Gorilla Glass 3, making it scratch proof. And the Eluga X1 Pro has wireless charging too, so that’s a win-win for people who want to show how their phone does really really cool things. Like not need wires, because wires are so 2017.
And oh, speaking of wires, there’s no 3.55mm headphone jack. That’s the biggest downer for us– but it does come with a USB C to 3.55mm converter.
The phones retail for ₹22,990 for the Eluga X1, and ₹26,990 Eluga X1 Pro. The phones are available in Silver and Dark Grey; the sale starts from 10 October.
PS – Panasonic has also introduced a feature known as ‘animoji’ which lets the user create animated versions of themselves.
