The OnePlus 7 Pro launched last month globally as their new, top-of-the-line flagship smartphone. The device is now getting a new colour variant called Almond, which goes on sale later today (June 14) at 12 pm.
Originally available in Nebula Blue and Mirror Black, the OnePlus 7 Pro is one of the best high-end smartphones one can buy today. Announcing new colour variants is a common practice by smartphone brands to build some excitement around their products once the initial wave has calmed down.
OnePlus 7 Pro Almond specifications
The back of the OnePlus 7 Pro Almond color variant has a soft golden hue, while everything else is the same as the regular 7 Pro. That includes a huge, curved 6.7-inch QuadHD+ (3,120 x 1,440 resolution) Fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate with no notches or holes, made possible by placing the front-facing camera in a specific housing that pops up from the top edge.
Internally, the OnePlus 7 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 855 processor with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. There’s a 4,000 mAh battery pack keeping everything running, with support for Warp charge 30W fast charging. The phone also has dual stereo speakers, and an in-display fingerprint scanner for unlocking.
The OnePlus 7 Pro has a triple camera setup on the back, with a primary 48-megapixel f/1.6 lens, an 8-megapixel 3x optical zoom telephoto lens and a 16-megapixel ultrawide sensor. The primary and the telephoto camera also have optical image stabilisation. The front camera is a 16-megapixel f/2.0 shooter, that comes out when needed.
